Boat trip to see Dolphins
You'll take a boat trip out to sea to see wild dolphins from the lovely harbour in Benalmadena.
You'll get time to get out of your daily routine, to work ON your business, rather than just working IN your business.
You need time to reflect on the past year, and also to plan next year. The time and location of this retreat is perfect for this.
From November 30th-December 7th, you'll spend 7 Days living, learning, and coworking (a definition of coworking is here) in La Cala De Mijas in Southern Spain. You'll be working alongside 16 like-minded business owners in an inspiring environment. The objective being to improve both you and your business. Spending time away from your usual day-to-day routine, and working on your business is really important. You need to take time to reflect, and have a high level view of where you are before moving forward. Learning from others, sharing your experiences and making valuable connections will only accelerate this process. And we're arranging everything for you. Lovely accommodation in your own private room, fab coworking spaces, breakfast, valuable daily workshops, mastermind sessions, and exciting trips and meals out. And where better to do all this, than in an inspiring location in the sunshine of Southern Spain (between Malaga and Marbella), less than 50 metres from the beach and sea.
Having been on coworking retreats ourselves and seeing the difference a sunny, inspiring place can make, we've chosen somewhere that fits the bill. The retreat is being held at La Cala de Mijas on the South coast of Spain near Marbella and Malaga. As well as still having dry, warm sunny days in December, it's very easy to get to with lots of extremely reasonable flights (around £20 from most of the UK last year!) into Malaga. And it sure beats holding it at a Travelodge on an industrial estate in rainy Slough ;)
We realise that not everybody is young, free, and single. You may have a partner and/or young children who usually can't come along to these kind of events with you. We wanted to change that so you now have the option to bring them along too :) With this option your accommodation is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment for you and your family. Your master bedroom has a double bed, sea view, and en suite bathroom, and your second bedroom has two single beds. You have a living room with sofa, TV, dining table, and balcony with table and chairs. And you have your own well equipped kitchen too. To avoid distraction for everyone on our daily programme, your partner and/or children can go off exploring the local area or just chill out during the day. If it's just you and your child/children coming, there's a well respected English speaking nursery (ages 8 months to 11 years) less than 5 minutes walk away.
When you book the single option, you'll have your own private bedroom with either en suite or a private bathroom. As well as your private bedroom, you'll have a shared living room (with sofas, TV, dining table and chairs etc) with a balcony and sea view. You'll also have a well equipped kitchen and super fast wifi throughout. Our partner and family friendly option is detailed above.
You'll have access to a couple of dedicated coworking spaces. One of these spaces is a self contained building in the lovely secure grounds of the apartments. All the benefits of working outside but without the glare of the sun, and a proper desk and chair setup. You'll also have a couple of gazebo's to work outside in, for those that prefer an even more outdoor workspace. All workspaces will have wifi and power for your laptop. If you want some time alone with your thoughts or some privacy, there are plenty of seating areas dotted around the substantial grounds too.
A Typical Day
You'll have varied days but in case you wanted to know how you may spend a typical day, this should give an idea. As well as providing valuable time for learning in the workshops and mastermind sessions, we thought it was important for you to have time to work on your own thing or to spend time with others too.

So what's not included?
Your flightsAs people will be coming from various places around the globe, this would be too difficult to arrange to be included. The prices of some flights from the UK were ridiculous last year, lots at £20 return from all over the UK!
Main meals and drinksEveryone has different tastes and habits so we decided not to include this. We will be heading out for breakfast/lunch/dinner together if people wish to. There are LOTS of local restaurants nearby and they aren't expensive. If you're on a real budget or would prefer to cook yourself, you have the facilities in your apartment to do so. The nearest supermarket is just 5 minutes walk away.
